Meet Dr. Erin Breen

DR. ERIN BREEN
Dr. Erin Breen obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University in Virginia. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine and subsequently completed her training in periodontology with a Master of Medicine Sciences degree in oral biology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Breen has conducted extensive research at the Forsyth Institute investigating the mechanisms surrounding resolution of inflammation and focusing on the oral systemic connection in chronic inflammatory diseases, such as type II diabetes. Dr. Breen was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in September, 2018, teaching periodontics and implant surgery. Dr. Breen has been an active member of the International Association of Dental Research and is involved with the American Academy of Periodontology. In her free time, Dr. Breen enjoys reading, traveling and cooking.
